The note comes with the pen already docked and a pad of bone paper inside, set with a reliable gel refill so you can write the moment it arrives. The pen takes standard D1 refills you can find anywhere, so it stays yours to keep filled for years.

Leather that becomes yours.
The cover is top-grain, vegetable-tanned the slow way, in tan or black. That slow tanning is the reason it changes. It takes the oil from your hands and the bend of your pocket and, over the years, darkens into a patina no one else could have worn.

Machined to outlast the trend it arrived in.
The chassis is 7000-series aluminum, machined and anodized to hold its finish where everyday wear tends to wear through first. The pen sits perfectly centered, held by a magnet you stop thinking about, so it is always exactly where your hand expects it.

A page that is kind to the eye.
The paper is a soft bone shade, acid-free, at 130 gsm. Bone is easier to read and write through than bright white, which is why good books have used it for over a century.

In the box: the leather cover, the machined pen with a gel refill, and a pad of bone paper. Closed, it measures 9.4 cm long by 6.3 cm wide and about 1 cm thick, and weighs 118 g. Designed in California, made with our partners abroad, and covered for a full year.
